The Invisible House - House Full of Mirrors in Desert

  A 22-story skyscraper in the middle of the desert is something you wouldn't expect to see. But there is one, sort of—steel and tempered glass cantilevered over rocks, supported up by scarcely detectable cylindrical columns. Its reflective surface swallows the surrounding bulbous boulders to the point that you wonder if the building is actually there. The Invisible House is a 5,500-square-foot fantasy structure located on 90 private acres near Joshua Tree National Park. The Invisible House is located 10 minutes from Joshua Tree, California's downtown area.  The Invisible  House is once a beautiful showpiece and at the same time completely unobstructed. It was designed by owner and filmmaker Chris Hanley in collaboration with Gehry partner Tomas Osinski, and it exists in a roundabout way because of Andy Warhol.
